Just wanted to say hello and thanks for the add. I am hoping to pick up our new to us FF 356 Speedster this coming weekend. It is titled as a 1955 and hope to get it home and do some cleaning and upgrades. Have a set of dual Webers just waiting and some other items. Getting excited as this coming weekend draws close.

Looking good, welcome to the SOC.
Nice and as everyone says “ Welcome to the Madness “👍
Car looks good without the side trim and bumper overriders! What color is the interior? Engine size (guessing it's a 1600 or thereabouts)? Your Oval looks great- is it chopped? What's in it for an engine?
And WTTM! Al
That's the first FF hood handle crest I've seen (or is it Wolfsburg?) Was hoping you'd be more NE Louisiana - I'm NW FL. Ever been to any of the Kustom Kreuser (VW) events in Ft Walton Beach.
Great summer ride.
I believe that's an original '50's/very early '60's era Wolfsburg hood crest, Greg.
@Fatbug1957 Welcome to the madness! You will certainly have fun dialing in your FF Speedster. I'm sure it will eventually be as Bad-A$$ as your chopped oval!
Well things went South quick on this deal. I asked about the title and getting the paperwork done and he said forget about it he has a local buyer and going to sale it to them . Well guess it was not meant to be.. On the look out again..
Welcome aboard, Lynn! Glad you found your way over here from our Facebook page.
It frequently happens that new owners find this site AFTER they buy their dream car and realize their dream is actually a nightmare. You are fortunate to have found the SOC and you now have time to do the research that needs to be done before plunking down your hard earned cash. Take your time and Welcome To the Madness.
Buy one of Alans or the black CMC listed on site.
Would do but this was a trade deal and I either will have to sale the car or find someone who would be willing to trade.
What are you trading/selling?
I'd be a little leery of the titled as a '55. Unless that mean its on an ancient '55 bug chassis or a '55 Speedster Replica.
Bill Prout, it is a 09 SLK300 AMG with 37,000 miles. Beautiful hardtop convertible that has been babied and everything keep up at the local Mercedes dealership in Shreveport Louisiana.
