Russ,

I am about 40 miles south of DC ( Stafford ) so it looks like we are a couple of hours apart. I have been very slow on my restore project but hope to get moving faster ( still about 100 years faster then Wolfgang at this point ).

Touch base when you get a chance and PM me - might be able to get together at some point.

Congratulations!  At least the body isn't rusted.

Posted by Troy -  Does the engine grill have a single bar in the middle and look like a hibachi grill? If so, it's most likely a CMC or Fiberfab. Possibly an older Intermeccanica though. Post pictures.

Troy, I sent you a PM with pic and question about the engine grille.  Don't know if it went through with this new upgrade.  It kept telling me I needed a name in the "to whom" list even after I put you in there.  Need to kow if it worked, and if you can answer my question.

I'm getting to the point where I sorta enjoy listening to George4888.  I like a man with confidence, and he has LOTS of that.  You gotta turn down your sensitivity meter when you dive into his stuff, tho, and try extra hard just to pull out the real info.  He does seem to know a thing or two about infernal combustion engines.  And I agree w/ the notion that an engine will likely be easier to tear down if all the moving parts therein actually do move.  I don't think anybody here would try to run an engine that sat long enough to freeze up just because MMO got it loose..  I'll agree w/ George on that one: it would be stupid.
