New front bonnet

I have qa very bad fitting front bonnet. Where can I get a new one to fit my 89 CMC.

You can try Rusty Tubs in Georgia, they claim to have a good match up for CMC body parts. But, are you sure it's the hood and not the fender? I've seen a good number of low passenger side fender lines along the hood, if this is what you have and you are goig to paint then it's an easy build up of material to fix it. ~Alan

The hood matches up real well at the top and tne front. The hood is 2/3 inch low on both sides as it nears the front. Hope you can see it in the pictures.

I should have said 1/4 to 1/2 inch low.

I agree with Al and would further say that is's a LOT easier to bring out the bar sander with heavy grit abrasive and some fiberglass repair stuff and make what you have match, rather than find a hood that might not match any better than what you already have....

'Sides.....your neighbors will get a kick out of seeing you sanding on your car while you're wearing a Bunny suit and respirator ;-)

Thanks for the encouragement, but I don't think any amount of bar sanding will fix this bonnet.

Do you have a rubber seal installed? Maybe it'll help to level it off.
