I know nothing about this. But it certainly is interesting.

I saw these or something just like it(IDA appearance) at Carlisle. What I saw was really designed for 4 of them on a V8, but could easily be fitted to a flat 4.
For $2K for a set of throttle bodies I'd gladly go with CB Performance throttle bodies, injectors, and rails. Should be about half the money or less.
These Borla throttle bodies don't have any ECU, it says in the ad to use Megasquirt or other ECU.
zackley. Beautiful rig and Borla has a good rep, but $$$$.
FYI, the VW boys have been doing this at home for years. There are instructions on the Samba for both adapting stock Japanese and German EFI systems to the Type 1, AND for converting old Weber carbs into throttle bodies, and installing injectors in the intake manifolds. Got a drill and a set of taps? THEN YOU CAN TOO!
Basically that's what the CB Performance system is.
The Borla tops it by hiding the fuel injectors inside the "carbs." Looks more period correct, and there's a market for that.
