New Hard top

Took the car down to Kirks today for it general once over before the run, all is good. While there Darrin took some pictures of Kirks new Hard Top for the speedy. Has everyone already see this and I am just out of the loop?

I knew he was working on one...Saw it a while back...
I think he said somewhere between 1500 and 2K, but I could be all wet...

They've got it listed on their website under Turnkey options for $2500.

I'd like to talk with with him about the same top but fitting my Speedster D windscreen and windows. I do like the real glaspar' tops with the quarter windows and larger rear window . You have less blind spots, and better saftey.. But they are so rare...

What's the lastest on the side window fitment ?

I think it is pretty cool! he is selling it for $2500, a bit steep for me, but I would love to have one.

Actually, the car in the photo is not mine, mine is in the background. Darrin said the windows attatch the same way the soft top windows attatch, I didn't see it for myself. Maybe Kirk will have one in Morro?

Oh and Gerd, no I was never in the loop. Trouble maker!

Here's one a fellow SO bought from another SO who got from yet another (more miles on top than my car!) - it's shown sitting on my car before he picked it up. I like the lines a little better - with the rain gutters over door (more practical than flat) and the third light bump up in rear of top. Not sure if he ever finished it or pushed the project back. He was going to flash a mould and produce a few to ensure they fit multiple body shells. (Both his and mine are CMCs). Rear window was to be plexiglass. I'd love one!

Doesn't a company named fibersteel or fiberfab produce these as well?
