I just finished putting a set of Knecht air filters on my IM Roadster. They replaced K & N filters and give it a more authentic look. The right side was a bear to fit and the left side was easy. The carbs are Weber 40 IDF.

They are vintage Knecht air filter housings I bought off ebay. They are for Solex carbs on early 356s. I paid $225 for mine and there was set a few days later that sold for the same amount. These were in original condition with the decals intact. I think I have an email address for a guy that had a decent set for $175 with no clamps or decals but you don't need the clamps. You can get repo decals. Then you have to cut out the bottoms and make a new one to fit you carbs. If you want more info you can email me.
IMR - those look pretty dang cool on the motor. Why stop there...put a Porsche-type oil filter on the dog house for looks (you can store some tools in it). Nice touch!
