I have been "lurking" for some time now, so I guess that it is time for an introduction. I have a Fiberfab Speedster replica that I do really enjoy. I live in Berkeley Springs, WV, with my husband, Nick --who is actually the "car guy" In addition to my replica, he has a 356 and an Austin Healey. Right now he is working on replacing the clutch cable on the replica. (thanks to this list, I ordered one from VS) I am enjoying reading about the cars and looking forward to meeting some of you.

Nick / Nancy -

Welcome to the Madness!

If you've been lurking on this site for a while, then you pretty much know the players. Bwaaaaa Haaaaaa Haaaaa!!!! :-)

Sounds like once you get the bugs worked out, you two will have a lot of fun driving your Speedy through the countryside. It will be especially fun if you hook up wth some of the East Coast SOC'ers that are relatively close to your location. They are a great bunch of folks - no matter what you read on here. Bwaaaaa Haaaaa Haaaaa.

Taken with a grain of salt - it would be hard to beat the entertainment/information value of this website.

Peace - Out!
Nick and Nancy, welcome to the madness. I realize that it's a long way off now, but please consider making the Carlisle, PA. gathering a "must do" item on your next year's calendar; It falls on the weekend before Memorial day each year. Being from WV, it will be a relatively short fun run for you and an experience that you won't forget.

So, is Nancy angela's doppleganger, east coast variation? What a hoot that would be. [I know, I know, there is really only ONE angela, so don't let's hear an uproar about that, OK?] Welcome to the madness. WV offers enormous potential for country road cruising, as you would surely know, and I hope maybe we can arrange something to take advantage of your "insider's" knowledge. Any time would be great -- except the dead of winter, of course -- but I bet the Fall is especially nice. We'll need to make some plans, if such would be cool for you guys.

PS: Wonderful pix of your wonderful cars. I had a '61 S-90 Coupe once, and wish I still had it.
Well Nancy, there is a better than good chance that I will need to be put in the corner, probably on more than one occasion....
Being a retired school teacher, I imagine you remember the old days when swats were given on a regular basis...God knows I do....
I will surely need a good spanking before to long....
Stick around we could have some fun....
Check out my pic's, there are a few just for the SOC gals....

We would love to try to help put together a road trip or a weekend. We chose Berkeley Springs for our retirement because of all that it has to offer--and because of its easy access to major eastern interstates. We have spas, inns, antiques, art, fishing, golf, and great food--all in a rural setting.

We would welcome anyone who wanted to just come visit. Love to share the cars with folks who also like them. Be prepared for the dogs though. In addition to being passionate about our cars, we LOVE our 3 Mastiffs. Our youngest boy, Dickens, is working on completing his AKC Championship.

Vince, for you --a picture of me with Dickens.
