My first post here. I am the proud owner of a killer Beck Speedster with a Fuel Injected Cb 2165!
I'm a few weeks in and the car is just amazing.
I can't say enough about how great Carey and Kevin Hines at Special Edition have been - just the most amazing experience!

You can't go wrong with a Beck or a CB engine built by Pat Downs. The car looks awesome. Love the seats. I really like that color.

Have your wife join the Speedster Owners Wives Supporters. It helps for them to have people to talk with in the early onset when the madness sets in.

Yup!
It's the CB Performance Gen4 Electronic Fuel Injection. Carey Hines has the car really dialed in.
The EFI controller is mounted behind the driver's seat with a custom seat-like surround Special Edition's amazing staff created.
Runs super smooth, power on demand (no waiting or lag). The car just absolutely rips!

Thanks! It's Porsche GT Silver . The color was first offered on the Carerra GT, then the RS60 Spyder (which I had and loved). Now you can order it on just about any Porsche for an extra upcharge. Works very well on the speedster.

Where are you in Indiana? I spent a lot of time not too far from Special Edition in Culver, Indiana.
Beautiful car. Looks like for got the Retrosound stereo. If you don't have the amp, get it. Its a plug and play. Fits right under the dash and makes a huge difference. Enjoy!
It's nice to see the CB finally got their fuel injection system to work properly. I had a Gen 1 kit and we could never get it to run properly. Ended up pulling it and installing Weber carbs.

I knew it was close and others wanted it 
I had Carey change the seats, gauges, steering wheel, and a few other small things to get my personal touch added

I keep going back to your seat pics...really like what you did there.
It's a real classy look that my Outlaw could never pull off though.

These are the first pepita seats we've done in a speedster (did a set in my 911 which were the first we'd ever done) but I just LOVE the way they turned out and they just fit so well with the silver/black combo...
