If you want the wide five look and don't want to change your 4x130 brakes here is the solution, these wheels come with bolt on hub cap clips and use the wide five moon caps or nipple caps! No need to change out your 4x130 brakes.

I would love to have a set of these but I think my current wheels have about 5" backspace to work with my IRS rear. I have about 1/4" clearance on the driver's side.
Good question - what is the backspacing/ET on these wheels?
I assumed it is the same as the 5 lug version - 4".

This four bolt option would have saved many of us (me) lots and lots of learning about converting to a 5 bolt set up / brakes when I decided my four bolt car could not live without your AWESOME Vintage 190 wheels, what feels like five years ago now....... No regrets... LOVE you five bolt 190s...and I learned about changing and servicing my brakes, and all related bits one has to do when converting from a four bolt to a five.
Great option for those with four bolt cars.

If you do a 16”, 5 bolt (narrow) I just might be one of those takers.
I seriously doubt it. Inner fenders and trailing arms would have to be trimmed.
If you run a Vintage Spyder low enough, 205/60R15 will rub the inner fenders from camber change. IRS could be a different story.
I think 6" in the back and 5" up front on a Spyder would be good. The 185s would fit nicely on the 5s and, with the right offset, wouldn't rub any more than the 190s do now. 205s on the 6s out back would look real nice too. The front existing 4.5" 190s would have to be widened 1/4" inside and out, and the 5.5"s 1/2" to the inside.
Of course, If I were willing to get a little body work done, 195s on 5.5" up front would open up more tire selections. If I was going to go that far, then 215s or 225s out back would be pretty sporty. With some minor body modifications of course.
This is what keeps me up at night.
I almost wish I hadn't seen these. They have me thinking about narrowed trailing arms and shorter axle shafts to replace the ones I just installed.
If you're going to all that trouble Michael I'd think you'd want the more "period correct" wide5 wheels.
With hub caps, you wouldn't know if they were wide 5 or 4 lug.
I am still working on my fake Rudge look. They only have 8 holes.
If the 4.5" wheels have 4" backspace and the 5.5" wheels had 5" backspace, anyone who could fit 4.5" wheels could also fit the 5.5" wheels. It seems like that would make them more attractive to people with irs rear suspensions.
With the 4" backspace it doubles the cost for me with the other changes needed.
When I had my Intermeccanica I had the 8 slot chrome wheels. Wanted more "correct" looking 10 slot wheels and bought the Beck 4 lug 10 slot Envemo steel wheels. Worked fine but if these aluminum wheels were available back then these would have been on my IM. Nice option.
