Just when you think he's run out of new skillz...
Very nice.
Oliver, I'm trying to figure out the fabrication of your rear window.
A narrowed oval metal frame, and cut down oval glass?...or
A convt. window with a metal fabricated frame?
Or, none of the above?
Thanks Lane
Carl its just a beetle rear frame chopped with beetle seal & plazy chrome trim & poly carb glass
or do you mean rear quarters ? I uses poly again & front quarters off beetle doors for frame
Can we get a full profile shot?
will do soon mate need to move to stuff to drag here out
Hi folks not had time to do much to speedster due to work commitments but now started body prep for spray
oooooooh - what colour are you going for?
aaaa duno yet ! ??? its a toss up flat beige , metallic or satin slate ,gloss blue ? may not go patina now cant convince anyone
Rust is a popular color on the originals...
Yeah, a color and a condition all rolled into one!
I like patina! Patina Louise, Patina Turner, Patina Fey...
Just "Rino-line" it
haha ye ! would look good had to google ( rino line ) we dont have this in UK
Wrap it Brush Aluminum
funny u should say that Cabana Boy I have looked at that already & yes would be very cool BUT! I would have to many joints & I dont mean the type you smoke
Hmmm.... in a single color you would have 1 middle splice front and back.
If you do a single or double race stripe it would look perfect.
So many colors , matt or gloss.
Hmmm#2...... only one joint
still prepin
Oliver,...WOW
The profile of your project is wicked! Nicely done.
BTW, how did you manage to appropriate the knave of a 19th century church for a workshop?
Proof positive that building this car has been a religious experience.
Wow, my shop doesn't have a cathedral ceiling.
I would love that for a shop
I would wrap the walls in some Gothic theme
Keep the pictures commin Im lovin the build and the shop .. You need that guy that built the mini merury to make you some stainless trim all welded up and polished to fit Id say give him a call make him some patterens and do it up super nice.
