He loves it. He either lays on the floor of the passenger with his head on the seat or sits in the seat with his head facing back. No urge to jump out unless he sees a hottie.

You know, I've been thinking of taking one or more of the Jacks out in the Speedster - even rigged a leash inside to keep them from jumping over the side. One at a time, especially if it's the female, Sophie, would probably be OK.
I've had Murphy out, but that was a loooooong time ago. He was ok with people and other dogs on sidewalks and along the streets, but for some reason a kid on a razor scooter or on roller blades drove him absolutely nuts - vicious nuts. Now that he's a mellow (for a Jack Russell) 7 years old, maybe he'll be content to stand on the seat with his head out the side and just bark - like other dogs.....
