That does fit nicely - how are you clamping it down?  Some here have wrestled with that (on hard tops too) and come up with good ideas. Those are fancy comfortable looking seats.

Thanks Wolfgang, I need to trim those headrests down a bit, they are way too tall,  but I think they will fit the theme of the car.  As for the hard cover, I will need to do a little research as to figuring out how to clamp it down.  

There's an inner wall/edge. Just drill and bolt right to the top bow hole. Or you could just attach with some rubber hold downs like they use on hoods. Also you can rig it with some gas struts to lift up and out for easy access to seat/storage...

I have mine off and can snap a pic if needed.

Thanks Bill, that would be great if you can do that for me.  My main priority right now is getting the speedster back on the road.  I have the carb being rebuilt (it should be ready today), and I need to run an electric fuel pump with a return line back to the top of the tank.  Mine has a Corvair engine in it, and those turbo carbs are very sensitive to inlet pressure, so the mechanical pump is coming out.

We look forward to hearing it run!

Tomorrow I'll get some pics to you. Also, a nice piece of trim around the outer edge really cleans up the look and softens some of the gaps.

Is the beer bottle functional or just there for looks?

That was during troubleshooting, the tank was rusted out with 8 year old gas in it.

Turbo Corvair -- never seen that before.  WOW!!
