Well after all the conversations about registering a Beck in NY, I finally stepped up and dove in the Speedster pool. I will remember to smile, and take a shower when I go to DMV. BTW, this is not a garage shot of my house, but at the previous owners house before I picked it up.

That wheel is almost identical to mine. I really like the drop spoke design as it doesn't block the gauges like most do. I'll get you the adapter picture you asked for shortly.

Here they are. I can't tell from the pictures you provided if you have the accordion style Nardi wheel adapter or not. That's what I initially had and it was fine with the dished Nardi wheel but it put the flat wheel from Mike a bit too far away. The 1" billet spacer solved that problem.
Are you going to join us at Carlisle in May?

I have the billet piece under the wheel but not the black accordion style "spacer". Thanks for the photo's that helps a lot!

The billet part is the spacer. The accordion thin is needed to fit a Nardi wheel or one with that bolt pattern. I'm not sure which both pattern your wheel has, so this adapter might not work. You'll have to ask Carey that.
It might help me to help you if you shot similar pictures of your setup.

Ted is correct, it is made by Mike Lempert, not sure of the model name tho. He has a web site, with a list of his current steering wheels. He is a real craftsman. Many of his steering wheels are replicas of the Les Leston, which are highly prized and expensive.

Fpcopo - Just send him an email and tell him you want one like mine. You can get it in just about any wood imaginable, and some that aren't. The rivets are optional as is the engine turned treatment of the spokes. I actually had mine with out the turning for the first couple of years.
Yup! You can get Mike to make you anything you're little heart desires. His prices aren't bad. I'm getting a custom VDM style wheel made from Mike. It's the same, or less, than some of the Nardi Replicas you see sold from Vintage, JPS, etc. Plus I was able to choose the wood, the color, the size, bolt pattern ( to match my existing wheel boss) etc.
He's about 6 weeks out right now. I'm hoping to get my wheel by the end of the year. I'm sort of assuming the second week of January.

Is your wheel a little larger diameter than the Nardi that VS/JPS/Beck uses, and if so does it get in the way of leg movement? Thanks.
I think if it's a Lempert wheel, "Downward Slant" (Leston style, not Derrington as I had previously stated), it's a 14.5"

Tom - Yes, I believe that it's a bit bigger. I think mine is a 15" and the Nardi I had originally was 14.5", but don't hold me to that.
