new to this site - anything happening in San Diego?

Occasionally I will see a bunch of speedsters meeting up places - but not sure how they all communicate.
Are there monthly gatherings? rally? shows?

Kevin, Just keep an eye on this forum for upcoming events. There's not really anything that's regularly scheduled.

There are some guys getting together this Sunday for the VW show in Irvine. There's another thread about that.

Goly Gee - it was just last December that three of us met at the Burger Run in Vista. Of course we had to phone Will and get him out of bed to attend! Other than that, it's pretty much singular at the shows I attend. Fun part is that I'm usually the only car like it in the show, sort of a change of pace from Detroit iron.

Hey Kevin - keep an eye on 'Events'. We might do another group run up Mt Palomar real soon. Or maybe you might want to be trip leader and put something together for OC and SD area SOCers.

Kevin - there are weekly cruise nights in Escondido, El Cajon, Poway, La Mesa and other locations. Some of these are major events wih hundreds of cars every week. Not exclusive spedster events, but lots of good stuff and good people.

Other than that, read the SD Union paper, "Wheels" section on Saturday for one off weekly shows. Or go to signon san diego website.

i usually cruise through there at least once or twice per month in the car....last weekend we had a late lunch at the little restaurant at the Callaway Vinyards...
