I recently purchased a stayfast top from vintage, but my windscreen, front and rear bows are from thunder ranch. Does anyone have a lay out or a suggestion regarding snaps and grommet placement? I am not sure where the butterfly snaps should be placed and how far apart the snaps should be set. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Also... if anyone has a upholster recomendation in Charleston, SC that may also save me a few headaches. I tried Dent Bros. but they told me that they would not touch my car?

OK, I'll give this a try.
The windshield frame should have two ears on the top/inside that will tell you where to mount the top clamps after you center the top bow on the windshield. Mine has a slot cut in it to clear the rear view mirror "rod" which goes from the dash to the top/inside of the WS frame. The clamps (mine) are adjustable so I would predrill holes giving me the most meat on the bone so to speak in the bow. Drill the holes smaller than the screws and prefit the bow and clamps on the windshield then take the screws out and use some sort of glue to fill the screw holes then put the screws back in. Then you can install the top.
