They are Porsche turn signal K12627. According to a 356 Registry article they were only used on some 1959 models including the Convertible D.

I got the assemblies off ebay for a reasonable price including the lenses. The lenses were basically junk. One assembly was in need of plating. I had to have both plated so they would match. So both had to be plated & the #s had to be engraved before plating so they wouldn't fill in. The lenses were NOS found on ebay. I actually got them for less than repos. Gray rubber gaskets and terminal boots from NLA. And I just ordered new grill gaskets because the hole was cut too big for the IM installation.

I have seen NOS pairs & singles for about $400 each/ $800 a set. One set went for about $750
Scott,

#2 pictured would fit but nobody makes them according to various articles & discussions I've read on the 356 Registry. They were not the same but similar. I guess the K12627 is a step in the early Porsche development that seems a winding road at times. I was told the twist on lens would fit the K12627 base but aren't the same part # as the original (who cares). I was told they are "rare" but I have seen them frequently over the last 6 months on ebay. Some appeared to me to be nothing but junk & beyond restoration to a pair of NOS that went for about $750 as previously stated.
I have seen similar beehive-style lights offered on English cars of that era; mainly rear lamp assys and some currently available as reproductions. Can't recall if the nomenclature is embossed/cast into the body. I'll go back to my "drawing board" and see if I can research this a bit more. TBD.

ADD: references found to M-B 190SL application in that era.

To all who were giving sources - this assembly is not reproduced to my knowledge. I'm retired and spend way too much time on the internet looking for anything related to the 356s. Infact I started looking for these turn signals after seeing some pics an other member posted and thinking they looked good. The front apron on the body is at a slight outward angle so with the flat bases the light reflector is actually pointing up at an angle and not straight ahead. The assemblies referenced would give the same result.
The assemblies I took off the Intermeccanica were actually stamped "Lucas - Made in England". I'm not a super authenticity nut but like a more traditional look for my reproduction Convertible D or a dressed up Speedster as it was.

It was just a little show & tell I thought people might enjoy as I enjoy looking at other member's pics.
