New TV spot with Speedster Tribute car?

Just yesterday I caught a 15 second promo spot on TV that featured a super attractive silver replica Speedster (from the front) and some star actor. He was getting out of the car as if it was his own and then they go on with the details of the show. I was so focused on the speedy that I did not catch the commercial. Did anyone else catch it?

I caught the commercial too and the actor was Alec Baldwin. I was focused so intently on the Speedy I didn't catch what the commercial was about.

Funny how you can view an entire commercial and not know what it was advertising.

Alec Balwin is one of the funniest MFr's on TV!!! If he ever leaves 30 Rock it won't be worth watching

It looks to be a Vintage Speedster. The white plastic turn signal lenses were my 1st "indicator" (pun intended). Then of course no Porsche badging made me assume replica.

I don't know why they used a Speedster in this spot... None of us have any debt! or are in need of any credit card!

Several years ago, I was on aflight from LAX to Atlanta with Alec. As we were walking off the plane, I leaned forward & recited his most famous line from Red October, "Next time Jack, write a G-D memo"

He wasn't amused.............what the hell it still is one of my favorite movies.

Actually, wasn't it James Earl Jones who said that line? I'll have to watch the movie again to be sure now.

Maybe that's why Alec wasn't amused.

Nope, it was Alec (Jack Ryan) as he was in a chopper in rough weather about to be dropped into the ocean next to a sub.

Personally, I didn't notice anyone other than Sean Connery in the movie, "Hunt for Red October"... made me want to study Russian! And as for this commercial... the CAR outshines the STAR!

Nobody makes food look soooo appetizing while eating than Sean Connery. I just wanted to dig into that meal they had while his senior staff was discussing their intention of defecting in the officers mess.

Now David, for quite a while my wife would have "Hunt" on for background so she could go to sleep. This was a relic of her days on call as an interventional radiology tech before we were married. I must have watched bits and pieces of it 100s of times, and can recite dialog from memory even now. The line in question was spoken by Jack Ryan to himself while about to puke in the helicopter taking him to the USS Dallas. The flight crew was doing their best to make him puke by talking about throwing up, and he was not looking forward to being dumped onto a sub in rough seas. Don't make me come out there and show you the scene ;-)
