I’m selling a NEW custom pair of Weber IDF Air Cleaners modified to look like Porsche Knecht Solex air cleaners. These air cleaners will fit Weber IDF 40, IDF 44, and IDF 48 carbs. Also the EMPI HPMX 44 and the Dellorto DRLA carbs.

These air cleaners give your engine that vintage look and style from the old Porsche 356 Knecht filters with the performance of a K&N filter element!

The old Knecht air cleaners cost over $400-600 a pair when you can find them! More importantly the stock mesh does not keep harmful dirt and dust out of your engine!

$199

@marksbug

The 4 stainless bolts on the top plate are just for show to look like the bolt pattern used on the original Knecht air cleaners.  They are only 1/4" long and are loctited with nylock nuts on the underside.  Plenty of room for velocity stacks.  The only functional bolt is the one centered which mates up with the riser mount from the bottom plate.  The bolt holes in the bottom plates are the standard Weber velocity stack stud holes.

 nice filters-but!!!! the 4 inner scews+washers+lockrings are a great danger to the engine / if only one of the24 pieces get loose,it maid cost you your engine[there is a good reasen wy knecht+other quality filters have long bolt fasteners,and anything[nothing] on the insite.this filters will be ok,if strippt of all the inner hardware and  long scews where used insted! well?? Originally Posted by tparrett:

As I described above, the 4 faux stainless steel bolts are secured on the back side of the top plates with stainless nyloc nuts and high temp red loctite.  High temp red loctite is good up to 450F.  Thanks for voicing your concern, however there's no way they are ever coming loose.  Again, not an issue.

Still for sale!  I know someone wants that OG German Porsche 356 Super 90 or 4-cam Carrera look.

Thanks.
