Can’t wait to try out my new wing windows. Apparently when Bruce couldn’t find any he started building them??👍

How do you like the visors? My plan is to try these first and if I don’t like them go to the visors. I’m going to take it out later today when it gets warmer. I’ll report back.
I really haven't used the visors much. I won them in a raffle. I prefer the look of the car without them. I probably would use them on a long trip. I haven't done one of those since the start of the pandemic.
I can report that these wing windows make a very noticeable difference even at low speed. Not only do they block a lot of cabin wind but they block rain as well! 😡 Also, you can direct the wing inward for even more air, that may come in handy on a hot day!
stopped at the airport just a few miles from home and after this glamor shot with the clouds the sky opened up. I scurried about a mile down the road to a gas station for cover. I had taken the wipers off because I would never be dumb enough to take this car out in the rain. 🤣

I have the wings on my car, have always liked the look and functionality of them. Per your pictures, you must have taken the top out of the car also.

I think Bruce took samples of the Flying nun's hat to build those.
Or a porpoise fin. My gosh I think these are exactly what Ferry would have made. Perfect
Ray......Flying Nun ? Not ! A Zopilote ? Yes ! I was fascinated by the look when they spread their wings in the morning sun to warm up for a day of soaring over the desert looking for carrion !
Seriously.......I owned an MG A and bought a set of wings to fit. They definitely were an improvement and looked good as well. That's where I got the idea.
The Williams referred above isn't me. It was a guy in Oregon I guess. I didn't join this site until 2014 and it looks like Williams was here in 2003.
Cartod......I'm glad you like my wing design ! Thank you for your positive comments !
Bruce Williams. (Aircooled)
I've had Bruce's wings and visors for several years and really recommend them.

I’m a HuGE fan of Bruce’s wings. Great for both top down and top up driving… keeps just enough air flow away from the cabin.
Just waiting for Bruce to migrate back home next spring to get a replacement pair… I’m a bit clumsy at times, and broke another one putting on the top this fall. I made a temporary one with some spare lexan to get me though the cold winter drives.. today was almost sunny ;-)
He makes a great removable ( tool free) front license plate holder as well… can’t see it when the plate is removed!

Your homemade wing is not bad! It’s not the flying nun, but it’s not bad.
Looks very Flying nun Great pict Luis.
