I've been researching and lurking Spyder/Speedster reproduction sites for a while now.  I was in Chicago a week ago and saw one in a garage.  Must have has a problem though as when I went to look at it the next day there was a gallon of oil under the rear as if something happend when the owner went to fire it up.

I also e-mailed the Jacksonville, FL member who's selling his.

Pete, if you are in Chicago often, Special Editions (Carey Hines) the manufacturer of the Beck's are  an hour or so away, just south of South Bend, Indiana. FYI

Welcome, Pete. Syl and Maggie are two of the best people in the history of ever. I think you're in Todd el Taher territory too. Watch out for the one they call "hoopty pilot" though. Oh, it starts off fine. But then he'll get a snootful and start talking British and from there you're just minutes from a melee. 

But no one you'd rather have at your back in a fire fight.

Seriously, you have a ton of folks nearby that are great people in addition to loving Speedsters.  I'm kinda jealous, actually.
