Newbie in NJ | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

Just signed up this morning and would like to get a look at some of these cars first hand. I have been looking at the world of completely impractical roadsters for some time now and should be ready to take the plunge next spring. I originally wanted to build it for myself but with a new baby, new house (sans garage, at least for now), and limited time (see #1 and #2 already listed) I am probably going to be lookig for something pre-owned and ready to drive when spring arrives in 2009.
Are there any local clubs in the tri-state or central Jersey?
Any shows coming up that any of you might be at?

I would love to introduce myself a little more personally and try and glean some information in a face-to-face discussion...
