They have ointments for those sorts of things, don't they?

Welcome aboard, Tom. I know it's a long way from the Pacific Northwest to Pennsylvania, but think about joining us for the gathering in Carlisle in may. JPS, Intermeccanica, Beck, and (maybe) Thunder Ranch will be there, as will cars from all of the other makers. Consider it a good place to compare cars side-by-side and talk to owners and builders.

Oh yeah, and drink a bit as well.
What Lane said plus Kirk and Mary do attend the West Coast events like Morro Bay and Pismo plus "coffee rides" on the West Coast around Los Angeles. Actually they are quite active out there.

Even though they make more cars than all the rest of the other mfg combined, they are always after business as shown by their excellent customer service.

Not to speak for Kirk and Mary, but they rarely post and really are always covered up with work. I can say that they are supporters of this crazy group and are thought of as great folks by the vast majority of people who have dealt with them. Including yours truly.

Hi Tom!

We're in southern Oregon, Medford to be exact. If your travels take you this way, get ahold of us and we'll give you the 5 centavos tour of our assorted projects.

Also, if my schedule allows, I'll bring something up to the Parts Obsolete campout this year. When it gets closer (it's in the summer - date varies), I'll post and see who all wants to meet up there.

Tom,

I am in the Seattle area and a relative newbie. I took delivery of my SAS Speedster last month. The challenge we all have here in the NW (especially on the wet side of the mountains) is not being able to drive our speedster for weeks on end. When do get your speedster (or in the meantime if you need a speedster fix) let me know and maybe we can meet up.

FYI

I think the Bridgeport Village Cars & Coffee has moved. I ran across the following notice while surfing the WEB.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Change of venue for the Portland Saturday morning Cars and Coffee effective May 7th

For all of those would be attendees of the Portland Cars and Coffee, I received the following with info about a venue change. This new location is not too far away and will take effect on May 7th. This Starbucks is located just south of the Tigard Home Depot and near West Marine and Tap Plastics. Here's the notice from the Ferrari forum:

For almost three years we have been meeting at Bridgeport for cars and coffee, but the time has come to move to a new location. For months now the traffic and congestion has been steadily growing to the point where more and more owners have concerns about coming out. And with just cause, one car recently was door dinged and this owner (at one time a regular) has not been seen since. So we have decided to move about a mile away to the Starbucks on Sequoia Parkway. This is a secluded parking lot that is completely abandoned on the weekends. Property management has given us approval and full access to the parking area. Starbucks is also excited to have us coming in on Saturdays. The parking lot in mind sits behind the building to the East, and will support upwards of 150 cars with plenty of spillover to the North. In scouting this location I have only seen the occasional lawn crew and once a large truck that was unloading.

Our move date is set for May 7th. This puts it after Canon Beach so everyone will be able to attend. We are also extending the time to 11 am for those who want to sleep in. We should probably stay clear of the West and South parking area and leave it for the
