Hi everybody, I'm a young Italian man and, after selling my car and my beloved Triumph Bonneville, I'm about to purchase a 2007 VS. As I am already planning to make some changes in the car, can you recommend any dealer/site selling parts in Europe? I see there are several dealers here in Italy, but they mostly supply expensive original parts.
I really like your community and I can't wait to drive my speedie!

Your speedster will be your only vehicle? Good luck with that. 
Since these cars are mostly VW running gear and electrics, you are lucky to be fairly close to Germany which is a huge market for VW parts and good quality parts at that. My advice also is to become very friendly with a good, honest VW mechanic. Buona Fortuna!
Well, my daily vehicle is actually a 250cc Japanese Scooter..not cool but very practical in traffic and for parking. I will use the speedster only at weekends.
Thank you for your advice Fpcopo. I'm specifically looking for some bumper decos and bumper guards right now..do you think a general VW mechanic has that kind of stuff?
Probably not but he can help get those parts installed and he can help with any engine, clutch, transaxle or wiring problems which are areas where you can have trouble. As for parts, some of the magazines I've looked at seem to have a lot of advertisers in the United Kingdom that specialize in Speedster replicas. Do a google search for replica parts suppliers in Germany and other places close to you.

Thank you very much everybody! I found a garage who deals with Pilgrim Speedsters not far from my place. They're not 100%sure that the parts are going to fit a VS, but I want to be positive. Anybody has experience with Pilgrim-Vs compatibility?
I have also one more question: the car I am purchasing is supposed to be a 1900 cc, 90 hp. Is it alright that on the papers the engine is described as 78 hp?
