Hi Robert,
I have a Replica of a 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder that is for sale. It is a Beck that I assembled from a new kit in 1985 & 1986. The car has almost 44K miles on it (the current Gene Berg 1776cc Engine has only about 22K miles). The engine features many upgrades, several of which were incorporated to enhance durability such as the full-flow oil filter, 3.5 quart extra capacity oil sump, 15% greater capacity oil pump and doghouse oil cooler with exit ducts. The engine also features: Dual Weber 44 IDF Carbs, 40 mm Intake & 37.5 mm Exhaust Valves, Match Ported & Polished Heads & Intake Manifolds, High Performance Street Cam with matched valve train parts including Steel Pushrods & Dual Valve Springs. A 4-Speed Manual Swing-Axle Trans. is used with gears providing 20 MPH/1000 RPM in 4th. The car has Koni Adjustable Shocks, Disc Front/Drum Rear Brakes, Roll Bar, Top, Side Curtains & Tonneau, Adjustable Leather Seats, Red Gelcoat Exterior/Black Interior, Full Size Spare Tire, Jack & Tools, CA SB100 Registration - Smog Exempt in CA. I am asking $17,500. Please let me know if you are interested. Best regards, Chuck
