Cory, I added the glasses to go with the new badge design. I must admit that I seldom wear sunglasses myself, even here in South Florida. I think I may have sunburnt my eyeballs a couple of time so I'm trying to remember to put on a pair each time I go outside. The origin of my alter ego was once when it was inferred that Vince and I may have been seperated at birth I posted that picture as a baby photo sent to by mom saying she couldn't remember which one of us it was.

Alright guys - I went to a local dealer here in the Charlotte area today and was looking at the Beck Speedster and Spyder they had in the showroom. It was all I could do keep the checkbook from opening! :-)
I loved the Spyder, but my heart lies with the Speedster. Again, unfortunately I will not be in the market for Speedy for a while, but I love looking right now and fguring out exactly what I want!

Hey Mark, I spoke to another person from your area today (Gastonia, to be precise), who's interested in a Beck as well. I invited him to come down to Charleston and ride in (maybe even drive) mine. I'll extend the same invitation to you. See my gallery for pics.

Thanks very much Lane - I really appreciate the offer! I will definately let you know when the next time I am in Charleston! I used to fly into the airport when I was flying freight, but that was a few years ago. However, I was just down there to see the Blue Angels fly at the airshow. I have to tell you, when I was sitting in the Beck yesterday - it was SOOOO comfortable! I felt like a kid in a candy store! They had 2 Spyders, 1 Speedster, numerous 911's and I sat in a Ferrari F355! Needless to say, I was in heaven! Although that is all I can afford to do when it comes to the Ferrari - sit in it! :-)

My pleasure. About the airshow - my wife and I were there too. Did you get caught in that storm afterwards? If that wasn't biblical, I don't know what is. Wow!

We were about ten minutes down the road when the rain started. Not a good day to have the Speedster out - hopefully yours was in the garage!

Mine was still at Special Editions - nice and dry.
