One nice thing about flared fender speedster is that you can mount pretty well any tire you want to use (and 15 to 18 inch rims). With the non flared speedsters you are limited to what size tires you can run. On my non flared IM I can't mount anything wider that a 185 without rubbing, and there is not a lot of high performance tires in that size. I like the semi-flare that Henry at IM produces. Looks nice and you can fit larger tires.

I really think the bigger wheels and tires can really compliment the looks of the flared models. I plan on running 17" Porsche Twist rims from a boxter with 7.5" 205/40's in the front and 215/45's in the rear. I already have the rims and I know that I will need to get new lug patterns drilled in the discs and drums and also will need to run spacers, but I can only imagine that they'll look great on my flared body. Has anyone seen a Speedster with the twist boxter rims?
