$39,900 -- thoughts anyone?
Scott, looks like it has expensive options like air, the umbrella hand brake & 5spd. What year was it produced? If you want a new one expect to pay 20k more. Can't go wrong with a slightly used IM.
Built in 2006........VEDDY NICE!!!
6 years old and a 1.6 motor according to CA registration . A nicer one sold in the same city a week ago (Bob Kelly's 2003)for 10k less. No mention of mileage in their ad.
You won't always find such a deal as the one that just sold.
Don't know why Bob sold his car so cheap. Could be the ongoing state of the economy or personal reasons. But that was a spanking good deal. I think the best one I have seen in the 5 years I have been hanging around the SOC. Jimbo, is this the same CA car I tried to buy last year? Looks the same exept for the shifter.
Marty - by all appearances (and side-by-side comparison of pics I took), that is the same car! Owner (at that time) kept stalling about being able to produce the Title/pink for the car.
Marty,
I originally bought the car at what I thought was a very good price.
I priced the car with that in consideration. Probably could have gotten more but it was about a break even proposition at the price sold. Loved the car and hated to sell it but I just wasn't driving it enough and thought it was a shame to not have someone take it who would get more use from it. I'm always on the look out for fun cars and will probably end up with another fun 2nd car in the future. Henry certainly builds a great car and I never had a complaint with it. Yes I miss it when I go out to the garage and see the empty space:)

Bob-when my brother-in-law sold his boat he said it was "just something that occupied a big hole in the water"...
Bob, I got of ask and I hope your willing to tell. How does someone live in sunny dry beautiful Costa Mesa CA and not drive an IM as often as possible. If I lived there and had that car my wife would have the police out looking for me. Maybe that is because I was born and lived in Chicago my whole life. I guess I answered my own question.
Scott,
Been there and done that :)... I've had my fill of owning a boat. Better to be a guest :)
Marty,
Guess there is just too much else to do out here in sunny but crowded So. California....
