At 12,500 I thought it was a decent deal. At 9500 it's a good deal. Let me know if your interested and I will pass on his info. He does not have email.

$9.5K to get in the door is a screamin' deal at this point in the game. 5 years ago it would have been a good deal. Right now, that's giving it away.
Lurkers- jump now, or regret it later.

Regardless of wether it's a good deal or not. If you want to sell something you need to post more information about the car...
Thanks. I'd like to see more on this speedster. If you can, please pass along my contact information -- matthewghickeyATsbcglobal.net or 224 / 406-0126. Definitely, I'd like to hear more about car -- builder, engine type, number of owners, etc.
Thanks,
Matt

Who is the owner -I am certainly interested?
I'm in!....E-mail me!...send more pics and info etc,etc....cash buyer!
I talked to the owner about a month ago.Ben was nice enough to put me in touch with him.The car has a recent paint job and he said there was a small chip in the hood. The motor was rebuilt locally, but he could not give me details on engine size or what was done.He sent some pictures to me and it looked like it probably needed new carpets and some other minor work.I showed the pictures to some of my friends in the know, and they thought if I spent about $1000-$1500 I would have a pretty slick car.
It's funny, because I offered him $10,500 and he told me bottom line was $11,500,so obviously times have changed.
Unfortunately,I bought another project and moved on,but I think this would be a great deal for someone providing the motor was well sorted.
Just my 2 cents.

Hmmmmm, New project for Darren....? Nah no room for the 911 and a speedster. If I could I would tho!
Had a coupl calls on it so I went and started it and listened to the motor. Sounded like mayme a 1776 witha engle 110 cam. ensplay seemed good and was a nice quit engine. nNo knocks. Loos like it could use some cleaning up in the engine bay and the bottom end was oily, typical. He told another guy here local it was sold but there is a bit od rivalry there. not sure if it actually sold.
Speedster is sold. Ironicaly, ia genteman just around the corner bought it. Plans to fix it up a bit more and re-sell it.

Hey cory, Ya Medic school is all done and over with. I actually found out today I can finally work as a Paramedic. A month after school ended, govt licensing took forever. Scary thought I'm out there now firefighting and doing medic stuff. Of course I have a loyalty to fires. My 911 is doing great. I'm pretty stoked on it but I sure do miss my speedster at times. I gotta say tho......I have seen Mark driving it around a few times and it always brings a huge smile to my face. I feel like it went to a great home.

Now you will know why those medics are always tired. Have fun looking for an open ER. 2 large bore IV's
Oscar - You L.A. guys have that problem also?! Sometimes (?) these ERs in OC divert for the lamest reasons!
Hey Darren,
Congrats to you! The Speedie is loving her new home and is getting plenty of exersise. Hope you can make a cruze sometime with us, even with your 911. Great model # for a firefighter by the way. See you around.

HAHA hey Mark I never even picked up on that before. McFly???
No Jim, we dont have medic vans, all of us ride on medic engines, and we have ranked medics so I will carry it as I move thru my career. I did get reassigned. So I lost that nice big parking lot. I'm still in Fullerton tho.
