Came across these on an Ebay 356 for sale.
Original Racing Wheels from the late 60s or early 70s.
They look sweet!

Love me some old school mags. Yah.
Looks like a pair of American Racing "Torq Thrust Original" wheels. I don't think they are the original 60's versions, the valve stem is in the wrong place. But I suppose they could also be one of the many, many knockoffs done over the last 50 years, so I suppose you could still call them vintage that way. They could be original "Torq-Thrust D", can't tell, not enough side view to see the spoke profile.
Those do look very "old school", Ron.
Those look great!!
I like that old-school look!
The seller claims the wheels were bought new in 1973 and, as Jim mentioned, probably are Torq Thrusts.
Here's a quote from the ebay ad:
American Racing alloy wheels, 7” x 15”, bought new in 1973, with receipt from Porsche dealer
How much do they weigh?
Al, I don't think they were especially light. 15x7, probably in the 15 to 17 pound range. Maybe even heavier.
They (torq Thrust) also have a fairly mild offset. (0 to 25mm).
p.s Did you see the Craig's list ad for a set of 4 original gas burners? $2800 and they needed to be refurbished.

The gas burners would be pretty neat; they are light (iIrc).
I'm not crazy about the looks, but yes, they're VERY light.
