That's an interesting rendition of/on the Fuchs style wheel.
I kinda like it but it's just a 914 Fuchs with 5 petals instead of 4.
I'm not sure as to why Mangus went the route he did, Art, but five studs do work better with 5 petals.
I wish he would have considered modifying the 917 wheel, you know, from "Le Mans", Steve McQueen's #20.
That, to me, screams 911 outlaw.
Art, why did you need spacers?
Ron; My fronts were rubbing on the inside, both sides (R & L). I adjusted the steering stops and put in 3/8" spacers. problem corrected. All with the guidance of ALB, Gordon and Wolfgang, if my memory serves me right..
Maybe it's my eye, but the 3/8 helps the front well gap. Of course wider tires would help that too.
And Terry you're too polite...after I posted that 4/4 and 5/5. I said to myself, Duh!!... Trying too hard to be cool.
Art, Empi tried the 4 lug, 5 petal with the Riviera wheel, so it can be done.
In fact, those were the first wheels I had on Penny.
