My apologies if this post is on the wrong thread. But I'm trying to reach as many NJ kit car hobbyists as I can. And if you are not from NJ, more apologies, and you can stop reading here if you'd like.
But for you NJ based owners....I received the message below from SEMA on January 26.
If enacted, this bill would allow us to title our replicas with the model year of the vehicle our cars replicate! This would be huge for NJ lkit car owners.
NJ's treatment of our cars went from requiring full safety and emissions inspections, to a special collector class which limited inspections to lights/wipers/horn, to being eliminated from the collector car class. That last item actually makes us worse off then we were in the beginning.
Please, take some action and email the committee members considering this bill.
