Hi Dennis,

Sorry it wasn't a fuse. Are you sure you checked the headlight switch itself for a fuse (on the switch)? That's where my headlight problem was, a blown fuse mounted on the switch under the dash, took me a while to find/see it.

Do you have a voltmeter? Very cheap 10 bucks to a couple of hundred for a good one. I have a cheap one just to check current. Get one and then start checking power at both sides of the fuse busses and go from there.

Also did you get a wiring diagram with your IM? Like what fuse runs lights, radio, etc.
Since you have a late model there should be good documentation.

Good hunting
Dave
You'll need cheap volt meter to check relay. The relay should have power to one of the prongs either with key to on/accessory (or perhaps always). Then with light switch on and key to accessory to the other one. Relays often can be heard clicking on with the switch. They could be stuck open or have no power to either prong --- or ground could be bad from corrosion. Someone posted a wiring diagram for fog lights here - use it for reference as concept is identical.
David: I'll recheck on the fuse by the light switch. There is a fuse box located on the drivers side with 6 fuses and small fuse box in the trunk with 4 more, but these are designated for the AC system.

There is on the right side of the trunk 2 relays, labeled high and low beams but they are closed.

Boy, were you right about being limber to get under the dash! Will check again for the lone fuse. Thanks to everyone!
