Dale,

Speaking of "Hot August Niles", Are any of you NoCal guys going to zip over to Reno for the "Hot August Nights" in Reno? I think some of you were there last year but guess I missed you. I'll be there Sunday thru Wend., staying at the Nugget in Sparks but I won't be bringing my Speedster this year. Those still working obviously won't be there but any of you senior citizen retired folks like me sure will have a blast there.

Bruce
Dale,

Yeah, got some pics of that "real" Speedster last year. It was at the Nuggett where we stayed! It was obviously a driver, liked the car as it stood, no over restoration. I missed talking to the owner, had said "hi" earier in the day but was on a mission going somewhere and when I got back later he had left! Maybe he'll be back this year.

Bruce
Dale,

Love to see you and some of the Bay area contingent come up for the Southern Oregon tour on October 1-3. Be cool if a bunch of you guys could caravan together up here for a real Speedster prescence. Easy Scenic dive for you guys on I-5! Come on you guys, nobody has seen Bigfoot for several years now. Interesting sidebar on Bigfoot, They built a trap for him near the covered bridge where we will stop on the tour. It still exists so maybe I'll try and find the location and we can include that piece of Oregon lore in our tour!

Bruce
Dale,

Old town Niles is my old stomping ground. Would love to come, but going to the Chandler Museum/Santa Barbara run with the So-Cal guys. But I am on tap for 9/11-12th.

Bruce,

The aforementioned tip to No-Cal will determine my confidence to take FEIN 356 up a little further north. It sounds like a beautiful drive, and caravanning up would be a kick. I'll keep it on my calendar and see how the Fall plays out.
