Gear oil was just changed...and that was pretty much all.
Any thoughts?

Throwout bearing?
Gear oil where? tranny or differential? Wrong oil type in differential if its Limited slip could cause shutter with wrong oil.
My 2 cents
It's gear oiL in tranny. Delvac is what my mechanic uses...
Bad motor mounts?
Going to have a look. They were just done 1k miles ago so I doubt they could be bad but worth a check...
Clutch? I had a car that the clutch went out on in college. It drove fine until I had passengers or it was loaded up with stuff. The added weight put just enough extra load to cause the clutch to slip. The added load of turning might be doing the same thing indicating a clutch that is soon to fail completely.
Bad CV joints or bad/leaky CV boots.
Bad motor mounts?
X2
On a 944 the trans and the rear diff are one in the same. It's a limtitled slip issue since it does not happen in a straight line, it is a diff issue.

That sounds expensive.
Well we narrowed down to it being the limited slip. What I thought was front end just so happened to be vibraticlinging up from torque tube from rear. Under load...turning ...the lsd feels like the played are binding meaning the gear oil - delvac- is not right for this car. Going to change out to Motul 300 limited slip oil and see if that fixes. Thanks everyone...cooryde you seem to be on with this one!
Before going down that road of changing oil. See if there is an additive for the LSD. Most clutch type LSD's need a friction modifier to work correctly with any gear oil.
Could be transaxle mounts in the rear. Trans is in the back on 944. Or torque tube mounts.
