Just reaching out to the collective minds here on the SOC.

My wife's 2003 RX300 seems to have a wobble/pulse/vibration (whatever you want to call it) when going below 35.  After that it certainly feels fine but I imagine it's just because at that speed you don't feel it so much.

Anyway, the pulse feeling makes me think something is out of round in the front wheel area. I've felt something similar when the front rotors have warped but I usually feel the pulse more when applying the brakes.  It's hard to tell but it doesn't seem like the pulse gets worse when applying the brakes. The pulse does seem to transfer through the steering wheel while driving but again I'm not sure if it's just because the whole front end is wobbling or if it's related to the rotors.

I'm going to look at it more closely tomorrow and was hoping for suggestions other than rotors.  I'm going to check those first.

I just had a high mileage oil change done and the tires were balanced and rotated so I know it's not that.

Are there any bushings, joints, etc. that might cause the front to shimmy that I should look at?

Tires just rotated?  There could be an uneven wear pattern on the tires and when they were moved from rear to front those bumps/lumps could be transmitted to steering.  They might wear off after few thousand miles.

I have same year Yota 4Runner Sport.  I had problems with the calipers rusting and pistons freezing resulting in the calipers sticking - apparently very common on that generation.  It caused a similar problem.  I ended up getting rebuilt ones from Advance Auto.  $55 each w/exchange vs $300 at stealer. Not sure if similiar RX has same issue.  You might see the pads on one side of rotor worn more than the other.  While wheel off check the pins the pads ride on - wire brush and apply proper lubricant.

Problem solved.

I went old school for this one.  I had my brother come over and while he drove I hung out the windows and watched as the tire spun round.  Turns out one of the back tires developed a bulge on the outside edge of the tire which caused the pulsating feel.

Off to the tire shop for two new tires. At least it wasn't the lower control arms or something like that.

Thanks for the suggestions.

In all honesty I think it may have developed after the balancing.  I'm certain they would have mentioned it since they're ALWAYS trying to sell me something when I go in there. The tread was getting thin but I thought I might still have 6 months to a year and I've been thinking of getting her a new car so I didn't want to spend more than I needed.  That didn't work out so well.  But I am going to save about $75.00 with the pro-rated amount on two new tires. Just dropped it off.
