At least there might be speed parts for a Fiesta... :-) I am just thinking that the original 356 was built with modified VW parts. The speedster was a cut down, light sports car. It would be interesting to see people's creativity in this area. Heck I also saw someone putting a Geo Metro 3 cylinder into a 911. People are creative. That basically is all that I am saying.
Does anyone remember the German Lloyd? It was a smaller, lighter, boxier, air-cooled (with fan like a VW) 2 cylinder car that had a very short market life in the 1950s. I think they had 750cc engines. And of course there were the 750cc Crosleys and Panhards.
