I too want to say " what a weekend drive!" A big thanks to Rick for sharing his hospitality and homes. The Historic Ink Estate still lingers fresh in my memory. And, it was a real pleasure meeting all who attended. Also, thank you Dale and Brian and Suzan for sharing your photos on the email.

This just goes to show that good things happen to good people. So good people, let's plan another run sooner than later. I enjoyed the good company and checking out all of the good rides. I'll Barbecue!

On a technical note, I used the Air conditioning up Interstate 5 to Redding from Williams with the top up. It worked really well and made our sun drenched bodies cool and happy. My wife said she was glad I got it! The temp gauge was the same as always.

Thanks again to all involved, and again, to our gracious host, Rick!

I also want to say thank you to all who participated in this weekends drive. It was truly a great time with great people! I also want to thank Rick for his great hospitality and planning. The Historic Ink Inn and roads leading to it were truly exceptional.

I also want to thank those of you who are sharing your digital photos both on this site and through the email.

Good things happen to good people. Lets get together again sooner rather than later for another drive. I'll barbecue!

Take care all and thanks again for a banner drive! Thanks again Rick for your hospitality!

SOC Brethren,
I just posted pics (Paul's & mine) of our awesome Tub Tour. Site did not permit posting to "Drives & Meets" so into "Members" it went (sorry Theron).
Our biggest thank you to Rick & Eddie for making it possible for all of us to get together, enjoy each others form of mobile expressions & it was a pleasure meeting everyone!~R

Group,
All I can say is WOW!
What a surreal scene to see. 9 speedsters snaking through the hills of Napa. Classics, classic outlaws, flared outlaws, and a nicely executed modern outlaw. What a learning experience! I hope all of the owners who frequent the forum get to attend a run like this one!

Three cheers to Eddie Janis!
Three cheers to Rick Warren!
Three cheers to ALL who attended! What a great group!

I'll admit I was a little skittish about bringing my not so perfect car to the run. Boy am I glad I did! Just seeing side-by-side different "stances" made some instant decisions for me. I will NOT be lowering my car anymore than it is. I WILL be filling my fender wells with wider rubber though.

Still grinnin! Still gettin over the sunburn... :-)

My wife and I will be "researching" the roads up through Amador County towards Tahoe for a future run.

Brian.

Brian,
Glad you made it & nice to have met you & your wife. The only standard for these meets should be that one has a Tub to drive. Who cares what it looks like? The chance to meet people that share the same passion of driving as a group is all it matters. Also, as you pointed out, seeing the audience snapping their neck sideways 9 different times (OK... 10 only because of Paul's shirt (o:), was pretty cool too. Now go fill them fenders (o:!~R

Rick, just checked out your pics and they were very nice. some were really small files (50k) but good size and quality and loaded nice and fast. do you know what size and quality the camera was set at? Also, would it be all right to post some of mine in your Napa Run folder? nice to have them all in one place.

Eddie, are you going to send out the member email and info list?

Thanks, Jay
Jay,
Please feel free to upload all your pics. The more the better (o;!
The smaller pics were courtesy of Paul. You will have to address the camera setting question to him. Mine are all the big S ones. Unfortunately, in order to get better quality out of my Mini DV camera (doubles as my still pics camera for now), the pics have to come out big.
I'm planning on getting a Sony with a CD-R by the time we tour again.~R
