Dale,

We will be passing through the bay area from Idaho, with a short stop in SF on the way down or the way back, then down 101 or Highway 1. We have a room in Morrow Bay for the 22nd. Other than that things are still undecided.

Tomm Aldrige, from Washington, mentioned comming down I-5 with a stop to pick up his wife flying into one of the bay area air ports.

If not; see you there.

Dale -- You got it, 101 to 152 to the coast and South has been the drill past couple of years. Lunch at Big Sur.

Dusty, I don't think we will be even close to making Cambria by lunch. But watch your rear view mirrors on your drive back to Morro!

Tomm, stay tuned for directions to the collection point. If you haven't done Hwy 1 from Monterey to Morro, you are in for a treat.

Have you guys taken Hwy 25 yet? If not from 101 just south of Gilroy cut over to Hollister on Hwy 25. Tres Pinos just south of Hollister on Hwy 25 is a good lunch spot and then there is NOTHING but twisties for about 75 miles......;-) Once you get to Hwy 198 on Hwy 25 turn right onto Peach Tree road south (turns into Indian Valley road) and it will come out just north of the Paso Robles near Mission San Miguel or you can continue south to Pasa Robles on North River road.

If you have never done it it is "the road less travled" and one you should not miss.

Make sure you fill up with fuel in Holister for those that have small tanks!
Ricardo, My wife and I can meet you at Lake Herman Rd. in Benicia just off HWY 680. It is one of the last exits before the Benicia/Martinez Bridge. As you take the exit look to the right and there is an overlook parking lot, we will be there at 8:40am. (easy on and off for 680 south) It is about 20 minutes from Fairfield.

I had a wonderful drive from Olympia to Grants Pass today with a stop in Portland to show off my car to some co-workers and then, later, a side trip towards Crater Lake. Got over 30MPG on the trip and cruised at 70 to 80 all the way. On to San Jose to meet my wife who is flying in tomorrow AM. We will see you all at the South San Jose meeting place Friday at 10:00 AM for the cruise into Morro!

Tomm
