Here's an opportunity for SOC Knuckleheads to check-off a Bucket List item. Join a Plastic Car Caravan driving along the Pacific Coast on Hwy-1 from Carmel down (aka "south") to the SOC West Coast Cruise Headquarters in San Luis Obispo. You'll be able to relish views from the spectacular rugged shoreline all the way to where the ocean falls over the earth's western edge.

DATE:       Friday, June 11, 2021

PLACE:     Carmel Chevron station at Rio Road & Hwy-1

TIME:        12:00pm                    DEPART:         12:30pm

This route is 130+ miles and should take 3-1/2 to 4 hours including stops for possible Caltrans traffic control, gas top-offs, water/snacks, and if in your right seat is the Navigatress (yes, that's a real word), a potty stop....or two.

Pulleez bring something "Knucklehead related" for the Saturday night Raffle. I've got a sh#tload of numbered tickets in my frunk and I really don't want to have to bring 'em home Sunday!

And, to steal from @MusbJim and the SoCal contingent's announcement: Please holler if you'll be at the Carmel Chevron no later than 12:29pm. That way we'll know who to expect and not leave anyone behind.

Would you guys mind if Sally and I tag along in your caravan down Highway 1?  We won't be in a Speedster, but we want to do the drive again.  We will do our best to not ruin your photos and  videos.

Hell yes you can join the "merry little band." I've actually got no idea as to how many Clown Cars will be showing up at the Starting Line, but it's certainly OK to have knuckleheads "in disguise" get in the conga line.
