Northern California events?

Does anyone know of any speedster events in Northern California? I know southern Cal is the automotible capital of the world, and there are many speedsters there as well as some events, but that is a long way for a sunday drive. Thanks Steve

A couple things. Sometimes we get together in May, Memorial day weekend, at BugOrama.
Then there's the Tour d'Hoe, a trip around Lake Tahoe, via the historic foothill backroads. We haven't set a date yet but it'll happen sometime between July and September.
Besides that, I try to meet up with Dale, Dave, Barnco Bob and, maybe, Ernie. But Ernie's always trying to poke his eye out or something...
I'm up in Grass Valley but regularly terrorize Auburn Folsom Road.
Give me a shout if you ever want to get together.

Thanks Terry, I'll be getting my new toy next week, so after that sometime for sure, and yes I would like to be included when you sound the horn for a group drive.Placer county and the surrounding gold country has got some great roads !!!

The local 356 club, 356CAR, meets every second Saturday of the month in Citrus Heights. It's a fun group and they welcome replica owners to participate. There are a lot of planned and "spur of the moment" drives with this group. A lot of bitchin'' cars as well.

Maybe we can get some of the other local guys out on a foothills jaunt soon, with warm sunnier days right ahead. I am chomping at the bit down here!
