Just saw this on Intermeccanica's website.  Smoking deal on on a Turbo Audi Roadster.  The color is very old school and slick (Maus Grey). Looks like he is aksing 59K.  This car with options would cost close to 80K(maybe more).  Dale, are you out there?

That's a beautiful car , there's no doubt . I think Henry had it on display at Carlisle, or at least one exactly like it. If I remember correctly, Marty and Sandy were sitting in it when I looked at it. (or one just like it).

It's hard for me to justify that kind of cash, I'm a frugal (cheap) Yankee. That's twice what I paid for my house.

Jimmy, I never pay for clams or mussels. I barter for lobster. I'm just sayin'.

But if I become suddenly wealthy....

Yeah - the Sea Foam version would have looked great on my deck in SC, looking out over the Broad River towards Parris Island, but, fortunately, we're not there anymore and my faithful Big Green Egg survived the trip North and is sleeping in my Garage until this weekend when I'll roll it out into the driveway and smoke me a briskett.  I figure I saved about $3 Grand in not buying a Kamado Kamodo, Jack Linkletter or otherwise (although I met his Grandfather at Disney World a few years back - pretty cool guy).

Hi guys.. Yes I build the Komodo Kamado.. If it were a 356 it would have the big bad blown Suby, 5 speed, tube chassis, after market suspension, big Brembos on all four and of course AC.  The other simple "glazed pot" Kamados would be sporting a single carbed stock 1600 on a swing armed VW pan with drum brakes..  They both get you there but the performance is dramatically different.. 1 shameless plug.. One 16lb bowl of charcoal at 235ºf will burn for 85 hours.. Nuff said ;-)
