Hi Boris,

good job. I was looking at the pics of your build and I came across the part where you install the trim near the doors, I see you have installed some chromed finisher lines that my car does not have. I was wondering if this was part of the kit you bought, or if you have bought it somewhere else (internet?), if you can point me the direction so I can buy the 4 pieces for my car.

The door sill pcs were included w/ CMC's you can get something similar at a carpet place.

you can find all those parts in Sierra Madre Collection Store...even if mine come from a belgian supplier ;-)

#50 (lower right) is the door sill trim for the carpet - don't recall seeing any for the outer rubber sill piece though.

Boris--thank you for the pictures of your nice build. You are going to have a very nice Speedster! Can tou tell me about that gas tank--is it VW? What size is it?

Gerry--we were in Scotland two weeks ago--Edinburgh for the tattoo---stayed at the MacDonald Holyrood---I wish we could have met when I was there---are there many Speedsters in Scotland?

to Mike: weather is actually not so bad...unbelievable for Belgium !!! ;-)

To Jack: the gas Tank comes from the donnor: 1964 Beetle, but mofified (you can find the modification somewhere on my Blog). I had to reduce the size (shorter) of the hole.

I know of one other Speedster here in Scotland and stories of others !

I'm between Glasgow and Edinburgh, only 45mins away .....next time gimme a shout !
