Ever sold an "unusual" car, Luke?

When I sold my V8 powered Beetle Panel Truck, I had everyone in the world stop by just to ask questions and take pictures of the assembly. I could have sold videos of the thing.

I can totally understand the guy's sentiment, it just get's to be too much . . .
I had a guy initiate a conversation at a show recently. Seemed nice and reasonably knowledgeable, but ate up a lot of my time bending my ear about his exploits and why I made a lot of expensive overdone or wrong choices...my words paraphrasing his.

It was re-e-e-e-eal clear I was in this particular show to garner leads and I finally asked the guy if he was in the market for a replica speedster. He said no and continued to talk at me as if I was his long lost buddy from High School or something.

I had to walk away, ignore this guy and initiate a new conversation.
Not my style, but shit...
