Well....Their done !  The cost is $50.00 plus $6.00 for shipping anywhere in the U.S.  (USPS)   Right now I can only accept money orders. USPS money orders are preferred but for some of you I understand that this might not be possible. I'm still trying to set up Pay Pal as well.  Some of you are not in the US and may have a better way to get things shipped to you so just direct me on that.

I have been keeping a list of those of you who are/were interested in buying one of these. Here are those names.

The Post Office was closed today so I'll ship tomorrow. (Veterans Day)

The thought came up about shipping two Foot-Pegs in the same USPS Priority Mailer. A guy in France and another in England are considering getting two for the same shipping cost. I (In their case it's $24.00 US just for one)   I can get two in the box so if your interested in two let me know.

One for your passenger? One for a friend who lives in your area? ......Bruce

Bruce...M.O. in the mail

Maybe now you can turn your thoughts to engineering and fabricating a short, narrow clip-on sun visor for the speedster?

Or, how about a 'shelf' that tucks under the dash and extendes from the steering column over to the passenger side of the cockpit with a clearance depth of 3 or 4 inches for maps, official Handicap Permits, cell phones...and the sun visor you're going to design!...Huh?

Ray,

I've thought of (but didn't mention) cup holders because in the speedster I can't imagine where the devil it could be installed!

There's simple no easy access location for it...so I've resorted to a screw top thermal cup (a little nipple to suck the juice out of, and prevent massive spills) and cradle it snuggled into my crotch!

BTW - speaking of innovative modifications

Luis fabricated two sets of neat curtain windows for his speedster. One for the soft top the other for the hardtop. Beautifully done (Check out photos of his speedster) and he shared with me the 'source' of obtaining the pegs...they actually exist!!!

Now, if that upgrade is combined with Lane's rotating vent... but wide enough to stick your arm through to pay for tolls...Hummm?

Carl I have the Santana fold away into the kick panel type and they work for a small cup at the coffee shop but... when I am using a push to drink, if it falls no drip type of coffee cup and that works the best putting our heads together we might be able to design something that can be slid out or something then hidden when not used.

I have an IM roadster so I have roll up or power windows so that is not an issue for me Ray

Carl...Thanks for the order. The clamp on sun visor prototype is finished. Now it's a matter of getting the CNC guy to cookie cut a bunch of the clamps. The acrylic visor part is easy. I have wing windows that clamp on with the same mechanism. I sold the prototypes to a guy who put his Speedster in the SEMA show last week. I'm getting emails from some of those people now. My wood pattern for some really cool inside door pulls goes to the foundry tomorrow. That will be my next presentation on here.

I was excited to hear you mention a "Shelf" under the dash. I have a drawing for one now. It will be made of Teak or Oak with a real "Hex Pattern" wicker field in the center part....very attractive......this is what Beer and retirement do to me.

You know....the cup holders are a real problem in our cars and I haven't came up with anything yet. That one that Rusty posted is the best I've seen so far but it's a little pricey IMHO........Anyway...upward and onward......Bruce

They are still available, I have a set but they go up and down instead of sideways.  ... as I mentioned they do work but the cup size is somewhat small and even though you have them they are not that convenient with sometimes giving problems to put the cup in properly or taking it out...... just saying...

In my opinion, the best holders are where the modern cars have them but in our cars these will do... if you want a larger insulated cup as shown below....well they won't work .. . Here is my favourite cup...

Ray.....I don't even know what a link is, much less send one. What I planed to do is to have a friend of mine help me build a little web page to show my "Wares" so to speak. I would like to have 6 items to show at that time. This plan isn't too far up the road either. Here's a couple prototypes. I think the inside door pulls are really cool but no photos of those yet.......Bruce
