Frank C....I leave for Loreto Baja Mex. next sat and won't be back until mid Jan. I have the prototype mounts ready for my CNC guy to start plotting them. Until then, I can't quote a price. Another obstacle is trying to accommodate all the different colors of acrylic that may be requested. I have to buy it in minimum sized sheets. Right now my thoughts go to offering them in clear and transparent bronze for the wings. Transparent bronze and red, TRANSLUCENT red, green, blue: Opaque black for the visors. Ray.....Pink ??....I don't know  Special order colors i already know will be extra........Bruce

Bruce, I was actually just kidding Even if ski goggles in pink tones do work very well at times... the sun is often an issue where I live with main arteries, running east west rather than north south so there is much sun at sun set that it makes going home dangerous and you need a peak hat or a visor, not to mention a good set of UV sunglasses. I am not an expert on what colours are the best due to their wavelengths .Thanks for the work, but I will pass for now. Ray

Ray....No apology necessary...It's just that one never knows who is reading all this.

I'm sure you know what i mean. I was knocked off by a Taiwan based company before I could even get a Patent Number on something I developed years ago.

To answer your question better, Yes, it works like a normal visor and wind wing. in other words, it's passively friction indexed to the position you want. The nice part is that it's fixable by you in the event that (thru a lot of use) it becomes loose!

Lastly, the visor flips all the way up (above the windshield) and all the way down as well (180+ degrees) This i found to be really useful because I can almost look over the windshield when normally driving !   Hope this helps Ray.....bruce

Bruce About your visors, you mean I did not have to change my seats I could of stuck my head out over the glass and been wind free using your visors... that would of been great  All kidding aside they look pretty cool, I am hoping to goto Carlisle this year and hoping some of the guys might have some so I can touch and feel them. All the best on your neat gadgets, and espero que tenga un buen viaje Ray

Ray,

For the short-term I bought a rotating visor that clips to the top of the windshield frame for about $10.00.  It's not a classy piece like Bruce's but I use it to cover the area between my sunglasses and my hat at that certain time of day when the sun is low.  A good remedy until Bruce comes out with his version which is very classy.

Just thought I'd let all of you know that I will be in Loreto, Baja, Mex. starting next Sat. and will return in mid Jan. If any of you wish to buy a Foot-Peg this week let me know before Fri. Nov 20. A friend is staying at my house and can ship you a Foot-peg anytime while I'm gone. I will be on this site and on Email every day while in Mexico so no problem staying in touch. I wouldn't want to miss out on what's happening with all of you as well....Hasta Luego......Brucito
