I kind of like that look too!

I couldn't get the link to work, so I did a search for 17456 and found a thread titled "added wheel studs to 5s &skins, had lugbolts before". That link worked and then the 17546 link in that thread worked.

Maybe this will be easier. Here is all the text from the 2009 posting.

first make sure your bolts are 12mm, should be with wide 5's
i wanted silver wheels, black skins and black studs/nuts
if you want all silver look order the other ones
what i ordered:
spherical seat wheel nuts 12x1.5 #M12DESPH
racing studs 65mm#M12DE65

So I bought the black studs from Bildons and installed all 5 of them in the left front wheel of the Silver Outlaw. These are the screw in studs, not the pressed in studs.
They sure looked cool, but thank God I only did one wheel, because after I was done the wheel would not spin! Apparently, the studs pressed against something inside the drum.
Of course, that meant I had to take them all back out. Not so easy, since I had used loctite like the directions said. Eventually I got them all out, but what a pain! I hate it when something that should have taken me about 15 minutes, turns in to a two hour job.
