NY VIN Sticker

Can anyone supply a photo of a NY State VIN sticker? My sticker was lost during painting, I still have my VIN number and think I can get the sticker repro'd, but they need a picture. Since I am not in NY the state won't help me...can anyone help??

Why not get one of the blank OEM plates (Pelican and others) and a number stamp kit (Harbour Freight) and stamp the OEM style plate with the assigned NY VIN? Sounds as legal as duping the NY one from a photo.

Wolfgang, I did a search on Pelican and Yahoo and can't find the OEM VIN plates. Can you post a link?

Hey! Someone was good enough to send me a picture of the sticker; and I can not thank them enough!!!!! I have located a shop to make me one, so I'm good to go. It is a real problem when this happens: I would recommend everyone to get a good picture of thiers (if you have one) regardless of the state you got your title in. In the process I also learned that the original porsche plates can be located at Porsche dealer parts sources: A BIG THANKS to Steve from SAW for that help! Best Regards to all. SW

I bought one from Fibersteel (Russ Rodriguez). He had the original Porsche VIn plate or a VIN plate without Porsche A G on it.
