I live in Helsingborg, Skåne - where is your family reunion?

OK, we'll stop trying to confuse the locals.

I don't know yet. The Mossberg family roots are in Blomskog and the family association often tries to hold the reunion somewhat close to there. The reunion itself is only a weekend. But I usually spend a couple weeks wandering around the country before or after the reunion.

I remember my Dad mentioning Helsingborg, but he was from Soderfors.  He was actually born in a log cabin on an island by a river. 

Ok, Blomskog is 4.5 hours north of here along the west coast, a ways past Gothenburg, Söderfors is 6.5 hours north on the east cost, just north of Stockholm... Not really in my neck of the woods, but if you're in the country anyway, you might as well come down south

Welcome to the madness Obs. I drove a 2-stroke Saab for several years so I'm pretty sure you were a little mad already. Best "winter" car I ever had.

Yup Al, at work I'm refered to as "the Saab nut" - crazy is already in my blood...

Oh my, 2 months late Obs, my wife and I were in your neck of the woods when we flew into Gothenburg to pick up a new Volvo, thanks to Volvo's Overseas Delivery Program. What a beautiful country, the sights, the cities and such gracious people. We had the best time touring during our stay and would love to do it again. A note to any European travelers, get a couple of Bank Credit cards with chips and a PIN assigned. We were able to travel from Sweden through 7 other countries without using any foreign currency save for about $20 for tips. Most places will now require a PIN number since they are phasing out accepting signatures without a PIN. Language is no problem, the only place we had a language issue was in Washington DC airport, the TSA officer we asked for directions didn't speak English, go figure. 

Oh, thats too bad, but let me know next time you come over, we'll arrange a good ol' bbq in our back yard!

...and listen to the man about the bank card/chip/pin thing. We went to Italy this past summer, carry on bags and a visa was all we needed to bring, tickets were electronic, no cash needed anywhere. Even the car service we took from the airport accepted visa /w pin!

Giday from Canada, OBS. If you ever need parts and the vendor is reluctant to ship overseas, I'll help out just for the fun of it. I've sent plenty of Fairchild parts to my buddy Goran Hansson a while back and elsewhere in the world too. ( sorry, can't do the accent over the o properly).
