As expensive as it gets. With a 10-13 gallon tank it isn't worth buying the cheap crap that makes your car fart. Spend the extra buck and go 92-93 octane. I remember Carlisle when I bought some cheap crap and it took 2-3 tanks and some carb adjusting to get it to stop. Never again my friend.
I ran 92 octane in my 9:1 comp motor, and it ran great. Could I have gone with a lower octane grade? Sure, but is it worth the wextra few cents and worry? Stock comp? Then go with the 87-89 octane. Remember, these motors don't have knock sensors. Ron
It's a shame no one has came up with a way to have a knock sencer kit for the .oo9 that would self ajust using a vacum advance and a electric air soleniod . But it should be possible.
But there again, to much plumbing stops up the drain!!
