I am willing to buy say 10 up front if I get a warm feeling that this date works for you...but if you say yes, you bought them....

Dave - If you make the trip, stop by Arroyo Grande and pick me up. Unless you want to do Highway 1 in Malibu, just stay in Oxnard or Camarillo. However, if you decide to meet up with the Southern SOC bunch at the Topanga Hotel, I will show you the way. Another option would be to stay with me and we'll all just drive down the next morning. The night before I will show you the famous Jocko experience for a nice steak.

Scott, Eddie, where are you guys?
Jim - Great idea. I'm game for it, but Dave may need to start back after the museum and that would be going the wrong way, of course, unless he finds a Marriott in Santa Monica and stays an extra day.
Zupp to him.

By the way, I talked to Eddie. He may make the trip. Haven't talked to Scott yet. Maybe I will call Michael Couch and see if he is interested. Maybe we can call us SOC North, or is that taken by some car group. Dave would know.

Bob E. - Are you in for this?
Warren,

My thought if I can swing it is to visit customers down south on Friday. Thanks for the offer to stay Friday night at your place. I might just take you up on the offer. I do have a couple of unused Marriot free nights so I will stay Saturday night someplace then drive home Sunday.

This trip all depends on work timing. I was given new responsibilities today and now will have someone working under me for the first time since 94' when I ran the new/used steel sales department. I love being the lone wolf but it had to happen sometime. We are expanding some of the things I do and I am in need of a helper.

I will have to see how the first 30 days shake out. The new guy starts Monday.

Pray for me.......;-)
Funny how a simple SoCal SOC Cruise evolves into an 'Event'! We usually get 8-10 cars on our cruises but hopefully we can get a lot more for this go-around (especially 1st-timers in the group).

Eddy Tudor - you out there? Here's a good SoCal event for you to escape from the heat in Central Valley! Bring that bad-boy Speedster of yours down and show 'em what's-what on Mulholland Drive!

Peace - Out!
